Claire Lindberg, PhD, Owner of Valley Soul Yoga


Hi! I founded Valley Soul Yoga to provide a place for people to achieve their wellness goals through yoga and other mindfulness practices. I believe that anybody can do yoga and I work hard to provide an atmosphere that welcomes everyone and “every body” into my studio. Whether you are new to yoga or looking to deepen an existing practice you will be most welcome at Valley Soul Yoga!

Years of experience have shown me that yoga and related practices can help support physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual balance. I am very interested in working with people who are experiencing health challenges, chronic illness, or age-related physical changes, or increased stress. I have had a long career as a nurse and the understanding of human health, anatomy, physiology, body mechanics and nutrition that I have gained helps support my offerings of gentle and safe yoga experiences. I am a Reiki practitioner and often integrate this healing art into my classes.

I have been teaching yoga for 10 years and am registered with Yoga Alliance to teach yoga (RYT-500) and prenatal yoga (RPYT). I have also completed advanced training in teaching oncology yoga (y4c) with Tari Prinster. Most recently I trained as a Yoga after 50/Prime of Life Yoga® teacher with Larry Payne PhD, C-IAYT. In addition to these specific types of yoga, I teach hatha yoga, yin yoga and restorative yoga.
